Notch Lounge Chair

2024
We often spent time playing football video game in Dong’s dad’s listening room, surrounded by his impressive collection of musical instruments and a high-end hifi audio system. The room featured an impossibly soft, overstuffed chair that seemed straight out of an Andrei Tarkovsky film (somehow). As typical teenage boys, we longed for that chair to be even softer—an impossible, paradoxical desire to push comfort to its absolute limit.

Loaf House

2025
Loaf/bread is one of the most essential parts of the European dining table. It is very basic, yet indispensable. If there is a bowl of rice in Asian cuisine, there is a loaf in European cuisine. Sliced loaf offers more than just sustenance. You can dip it in sauce, soak it in soup, and it essentially functions as a plate for various ingredients or dishes.

Lake Glass

2026
Lake Glass begins with a memory of summer rituals in Vihtijärvi, Finland: swimming after a hot Finnish sauna, sitting by a bonfire next to the lake, eating smoked salmon and mashed potato with wild garlic flowers picked from the garden and sharing white wine, sparkling wine, cider, and beer.

The glass cup combines two ways of making. The cup part is blown into a mold, a process often used for repeated and controlled production. The foot is first formed in the mold, then shaped further by hand-blowing. By using these two processes in one object, the collection shows a simple pairing between each technique. It reflects how a drinking glass can carry both the precision of a mold and the craftsmanship that come from the hand of glass blower.
